The Process
Our process focuses on Simplicity While Still providing Quality results in a Timely Manner!

Step 1 – Sign Contract
Signing the contract is a crucial milestone. Once that’s done, going through the project start checklist will help ensure everything is in place for a smooth process and quality project.

Step 2 – Drawing Approval
Now the contract is signed, we will work with you to create project drawings! Once you receive the drawings for approval, you’ll have a clear view of the post layout, elevations, and cross sections. This will ensure everything is in order before submitting the packet for the permit application. If you have any questions or need further assistance during the review process, feel free to reach out.

Step 3 – Submit for Permit
Once your drawings are approved, you’ll need to submit your plans to the appropriate authority, which could be your city or town if you’re in an incorporated area, or your parish or county if you’re outside of one. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask!

Step 4 – Building Starts!
Once the building permit is approved, send it to our office and it will get in our production queue. During this time, we will be ordering the materials and building your project in our state of the art manufacturing facility! Our project team will communicate updates to you through out the manufacturing process.

Step 5 – Site Preparation
During this stage, any site preparation required for the building project will be completed.

Step 6 – Materials Delivered and Construction begins
Based on the project timelines communicated in Step 4, materials will be delivered to the project site and the team will start the construction of your building project!

Step 7 – Building Phase I Complete
During this phase, the framing and shell are completed! Once the framing team finishes, you can move forward with installing concrete, overhead doors, and gutters. These additions will further enhance the structure and functionality of your building. If you have any specific questions or need assistance with the next steps, feel free to ask!

Step 8 – Final Building Phase Complete
Now that the framing is complete, the final building processes will be completed. Depending on your building specifications, this might include installing concrete, overhead doors, windows, gutters, etc. We work with you throughout this process and clean up the site when we’re done!

Step 9 – Quality Control
Southern Quality Buildings feels that this is the critical step in our building process. Our rigorous quality control process helps ensure that your construction project meets/exceeds your needs. This QC check will cover key areas such as the installation of entry doors and windows, inspection of framing, siding, and roof covering, and collection of any remaining materials. This proactive approach helps ensure everything is up to standard and gives you peace of mind.

Step 10 – Project Complete
Once the quality process has been completed and approved, the project is complete! Southern Quality Buildings will send the final project documentation which will signal the end of the project.
